SS15 Beauty Trends

So some of you may have read my fashion trends post for SS15, I thought it would be great to do a beauty trends post for SS15 as beauty is just as important in my eyes. Here are some of the trends for Spring Summer 2015.

Eye Liner

So its all about eyeliner, from fine lines to thick dramatic looks. I love my eyeliner so was happy to hear this was a trend for the new season and I tend to play around with a subtle flick to a in your face flick depending on what mood I am in. However, with hot weather liner can be hard to keep on but I have found my holy grail Soap and Glory Cat Liner.

Bold Lips

As you may know already I am a bold lip kind of girl, I adore deep berry and bold bright pinks you name it I  love it. This bold lip trend is all about making your lips stand out, if you arent keen on the berry lip for the summer days opt for a coral or pink that will add that pop of colour. I particularly love Girl About Town by MAC for a bright fun pink.

Baby Blue

Blue and when I say blue I mean bright blue was seen across the catwalks showcasing SS15. Blue liner on the top lash line and black on the bottom was popular, with some catwalks doing blue all over. Not sure I am a blue liner kind of girl but maybe I can smoke out some blue shadow on the edge of my eye.

No Makeup Makeup

Think minimal, flawless skin, dewy complexion and no eye makeup. I do love this look, but it isn't for me as I definately need to look like I have makeup to look alive! I am quite self conscious without my mascara and liner. For those lucky enough to have that english rose appearance or natural beauty this is the look for you. Or if you want a more bronzed natural look then maybe the bronzed goddess trend for SS15 as below is more your look.

Smokey Eyes

In spring/summer I tend to opt for less makeup, so smokey eye is only an evening look, but for this SS15 the smokey eye is a daytime feature too which sounds fab! What I love about this seasons beauty trends is that there are loads to choose from, so if you love minimal its featured, if you love colour its featured. I adore smokey eyes so will be showcasing this look as much as possible.

OOTD: Fairy Tale Moments and Announcement!

You ever got that moment when you feel like you are a Disney princess...well this was my moment! I adore this skirt, teamed with a leather jacket and statement necklace I felt like a princess with edge! This is also the start of my maternity style....yep I am pregnant!! Its so hard to find things and to dress when pregnant, not much around so I am trying to experiment and look at various styles and ways to wear things differently.

Review: Yves Rocher Quelques Notes d'Amour Perfume

A sunny day makes me so happy, that and a gorgeous scented perfume so when Yves Rocher contacted me to review a perfume I was happy to say yes. This perfume has what I would describe a romantic scent, I instantly got a comment from my husband when I wore it, which is a good sign as he doesn't pay attention to those kind of things! I would have more photos but the lovely laptop would not allow my camera to load any of the other images no matter what I did, so apologise for the one photo show!

This perfume is sweet but not overpowering, it has notes of sweet and fruity Rose Damascena with Guaviac wood as the smokey accent. It reminds me of Chanel! My mama wears Chanel and I swear this is so similar, I love it and have worn it daily. It lasts and I love when I suddenly swish- Yes please imagine me swishing my hair randomly, I get a whiff of the gorgeous scent.

The packaging is simple yet feminine with clear glass and a simple lid showing the Yves Rocher symbol on the bottom. The perfume is certainly one I would highly recommend and with mothers day round the corner I would suggest this as a great gift for your lovely mummys.

The perfume retails at £34 for 30 ml and hurry as they have 30% off at the moment! click here!

SS15 Fashion Trends

Its that time again when we get excited for a new season, think sun, snowdrops and bunny rabbits and we are pretty much in spring! I have always got excited for what's going to be a trend for the new season, to plan what I can buy, what I will suit and what new materials or patterns will I be exploring. I adore this time of year, so here is a little look at some trends that will be hitting us this SS15.

*all images are from google.

Yellow.

I adore yellow, so am pretty excited about this one. Yellow was seen across fashion week, this Diane Von Furstenburg dress had many people talking, If you don't fancy an all over yellow look then how about some yellow shoes or a bag perhaps?

Gingham

Now don't get me wrong, I do think gingham can look lovely but I just don't think its the trend I am that excited about, I think I may incorporate it by getting a gingham pencil skirt or accessory rather then a whole dress or outfit.

Black and White

SS25 trends, SS15 fashion trends, Diane Von Furstenburg SS15, Burberry SS15

I always love black and white, its strong, classic and easy to achieve. I was surprised to see it for SS15 as would imagine this more for A/W but then thats just me, when the sun is out bright colours are out, so my plan is a black and white dress teamed with bright shoes and a matching lipstick.

The 70s.

Think suede, long bell sleeves, wide legged trousers and bold prints. I have never been a huge 70s fan and i am petite meaning I can get swamped quite easily but I think the flowing patterned dresses will look gorgeous and be easier for me to carry off.

Denim

We have always been told NO to denim on denim but it seems that it isn't such a fashion faux pas depending on how you do it. I am loving denim especially the layered tulle blue skirt and denim jacket. Looking online at shops such as ASOS I have seen denim dressed in unusual angled cuts, oversized jeans and lots of denim layering so it seems this is a trend you can do as little or as much as you like.

Tulle

This has to be my favourite trend, I wore two gorgeous tulle skirts last year and just adored them. I love the look of the tulle dresses, you can dress them up or down with a denim jacket. I got to admit I am not feeling the way Burberry mixed them up with the sandals but thats my personal opinion. These colours are stunning and I adore tulle, it makes me feel feminine and like a princess.

Makeup Revolution Palette Review

Who hasn't heard of Makeup Revolution? A brand that is affordable and who create a fantastic range of makeup. I received this Makeup Revolution palette from my lovely friend Ashley from Beauty Waterfall. I opened this palette with excitement as Makeup Revolution always know how to deliver.  The palette is called the Salvation Palette- Welcome to the pleasuredome and consists of 12 shades with a slight shimmer and then 6 matte shades. I like the variety of nude and bright colours, they all compliment eachother well. The pigmentation is so good and on par with some high end eyeshadows.

You can create many looks using these colours, from a smokey eye to a simple sweep of shadow to create a gorgeous nude eye look. The matte shades are super matte which I love and the shimmery shades do not have large chunks of glitter so it doesn't look in your face. I would highly recommend this palette which retails at only £6.00! Isn't that amazing! Such good value for money.

I would highly recommend this product. Have you tried this palette or any other Makeup Revolution palette?

A Date Day | Food Festival | OOTD

Food is something I literally adore!! especially foods from various cultures, I adore trying new dishes out so when me and the hubby found out about Bournemouth we took the hour trip to go and have a great date day.

A fruity superfood smoothie!

Churros with a chocolate dip!

We also had paella and a pulled pork burrito but we ate them before we thought of photos! I wanted to try so much more like goats curry, a salted beef sandwich but it was so cold and unfortunately we couldnt stay much longer so went to the sea front which was suprisingly warmer, which sounds crazy as you would expect it to be colder but it wasnt so we strolled along there and played in the amusements on the classic 2 p machines.

My outfit- Ripped Jeans and Crochet Top from Topshop. Hat and Boots from New Look, and coat from Ebay.

We had such a lovely day, strolling and exploring. We ended up in town centre as you do, and bought our little one a build the bear! I have never been in there and it was so much fun!
